By using Bibbly ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Bibbly is

Bibbly helps new parents make decisions by showing two options at a time and learning what you prefer. Three products:

• Baby Names - Find the perfect name through pairwise comparisons. Couples can run joint analysis to find Pareto-optimal names.
• Baby Wardrobe - Discover favorite baby clothing across DTC brands via the same pairwise engine. Affiliate links redirect to partner stores.
• Character Universe - Create personalized illustrated children's books starring custom characters. AI-generated illustrations and stories tailored to your family.

Bibbly is not medical advice, legal advice, or a substitute for your own judgment.

Your account

• You need a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for access to your email - that's how authentication works (magic links).
• One account per person. Don't share your login links.

Acceptable use

Use Bibbly for its intended purpose. Don't:

• Automate access or scrape data.
• Attempt to access other users' data, universes, or characters.
• Use the service to harass or harm others.
• Reverse-engineer the recommendation system.
• Generate content that is inappropriate for children or violates any law.
• Use generated illustrations in ways that infringe on others' intellectual property.

Your data

You own your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details. In short: we don't sell it, we don't share it, and you can delete it anytime.

Generated content

• Illustrations and stories generated through Bibbly are created using AI image and text generation.
• You retain rights to your character descriptions, universe settings, and personal creative input.
• Generated images are provided for personal, non-commercial use within your family.
• We do not guarantee that generated content will be free of errors, inconsistencies, or unwanted elements.
• Character sharing between universes requires explicit permission from the character creator.

Subscriptions and payments

• Baby Names and Baby Wardrobe are free to use with no limits.
• Character Universe features may include free and paid tiers.
• Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime.
• If you cancel a subscription, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• Refund requests within 30 days of purchase: email support@bibbly.ai.

Affiliate links

Baby Wardrobe includes affiliate links to third-party clothing stores. When you click through and make a purchase, Bibbly may earn a commission. We only include brands we've curated and tested through our preference engine. Your clicks and conversions are tracked to measure affiliate performance, not to build advertising profiles.

Availability

We aim to keep Bibbly available 24/7 but don't guarantee uptime. We may take the service down for maintenance. Your data is persisted and will be there when we're back.

Intellectual property

• The Bibbly name, logo, recommendation engine, and character generation pipeline are our intellectual property.
• Baby names are not copyrightable - they're names.
• Your original character concepts, descriptions, and universe settings belong to you.
• The specific AI-generated illustrations are licensed for your personal use under these terms.

Email communications

• Transactional emails (login links, book notifications, sharing invites) are sent as needed to operate the service.
• Marketing emails are only sent if you explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email.

Limitation of liability

Bibbly is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We make no warranty about the quality of AI-generated illustrations or text.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms. If we make meaningful changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.
